Garden stuffs planted

In Toronto, planting season tends to begin on or after the May 2-4 long weekend, and this week I finally got a chance to plant things.

The weather has been a bit funny these past few weeks. At turns scorching hot, and then cold again, but I think my little plants will be ok from here on out.

In the back are my highbush blueberry and cherry trees, surrounded by various plants which will (theoretically) get larger and prettier as the summer gets on.

Raspberry bushes line the fence. I found the cute little blue flower pot out in front of somene’s yard on garbage day. It was a nice score.

Cherry tomatoes in cages, hot peppers in the centre, a line of various strains of basil, and African marigolds to ward away the bugs.

Garlic in the back left, jalapeƱos in the middle left. Cucumbers in the back right, strawberries front right. Everywhere else: all the herbs.
