Update: This conference has been cancelled due to covid-19.
(Re)Making History is the theme of the Tri-University History Conference for 2020, and is sponsored by the University of Guelph, University of Waterloo, and Laurier University.
I will be presenting “Witchcraft Pamphlets at the Dawn of the Scottish Enlightenment,” which looks at what we can glean about attitudes towards witchcraft in what amounted to the popular press at the time. This paper is a revision of work that I did in my first semester at the University of Guelph, and I’m excited to present it.
