Toronto Arts Council grant recipient

Toronto Arts CouncilI am extremely excited and honoured to share that I have been awarded a writing grant from the Toronto Arts Council to afford me time to work on my poetry.

It’s a wonderful affirmation that I’m on the right track, that I’m not just writing into a void, and that some small group of people, somewhere in this city, think my work is worth funding. That’s just…dizzyingly amazing.

My face is stretched into an unfamiliar shape with this rather stupid grin, but I really ought to get back to work.

Gaa!
