Visiting Sir John A Macdonald’s grave site

This weekend we attended a family reunion near Kingston, Ontario, and afterwards we stopped by Cataraqui Cemetery, which hosts the grave site of Sir John A Macdonald, the Father of Confederation and first prime minister of Canada.

There were three or four plaques; this one overlooks a little garden area.

Overlooking the grave site, which is on a bit of a hill, so unfortunately a wider view wasn’t possible.
