Yesterday’s Run for the Cure

CIBC Run for the Cure 2012

Yesterday my sister and I participated in the Run for the Cure. I’ve been trying to think how many years I’ve done it, and I can’t recall. I think this is either the third or fourth year I’ve run with my sister.

Last year, she had a pink wig, and I demurred, not wanting to look ridiculous. This year, she bought me a wig too and those fabulous pink socks. We shared the boa.

It’s a 5k run for a great cause, and it’s something that’s affected a number of people close to me, including both my grandmothers.

There’s still time to donate, if you haven’t yet, and for those who have, or who have supported in other ways, thanks again!
