I am excited to present a panel entitled Encounters in Medieval Trans Studies at the International Congress on Medieval Studies.
A noncomprehensive list of papers, talks, panels, and chaired events at academic conferences.
Earlier this month I had the opportunity to present a short paper, “Theory in Medieval Trans Studies,” at the American Historical Association’s Annual Meeting.
I am organizing a panel hosted by the Society for Queer Medieval Studies for the International Congress on Medieval Studies (ICMS) that will take place in May 2023.
My paper is titled “Thinking through Silence and Transness in Medieval Literary Texts,” and looks at a thirteenth-century verse romance.
I will be presenting my paper “‘Calling [Herself] Eleanor’: Translike Gender Presentation in
Medieval Europe” on Friday, 26 March 2021 at 11:40 am EST.
