As some of you know, I’ve gone back to university, and I’m studying at the University of Toronto at the Mississauga campus. Though it’s my first year of attending university full time, I have transfer credits from courses I’ve taken at Ryerson University.
I’m pursuing a double major in History and Art History, with a minor in History of Religions. I’ve just about finished my first year. Classes are finished for the winter term, all my final papers are in, but I’ve still got four exams to write before I’m through. Then, summer sessions start.
I’ve been trying to get involved, though I’m older than most of the students attending classes. I’ve written a few articles for The Medium, the school newspaper:
- “Contemplating life through tarot readings”
- “A beginner’s guide to taxes”
I’m also a volunteer for the Historical Studies society, and OUT@UTM, the queer club on campus, and it’s been a lot of fun.
I may be late getting started, but I’m doing my best to catch up.
